I always said I'd never run a marathon. All that training - it can't be good for you. The pressure of race day - a prime opportunity for the negative committee to take up residence. But then Richard called me one day in January - or should I say Runuary - and asked me if I'd run for the Trust... Well... If someone offers you a place in the world's greatest marathon... You don't say no to something like that!
