We are a squad of 14 year old rowers wanting to show support to our coach and three of our squad members that have just lost a family member to pancreatic cancer.

We will attempt to establish at least FOUR British records for the marathon distance (all full 26 miles), doing relay teams. Our coach will row alongside us and will try and beat the British record for her age group which currently stands at 3hours 5min 51s.

Bonjour,

Nous sommes un groupe de rameurs du club d'aviron de Warrington, et voulons apporter notre support a notre entraineur et trois membres de notre groupe, apres le deces de leur belle-mere/Grand-Mere, Grand-pere d'un cancer du pancreas.

Nous allons etablir quatre records britanniques pour ramer un marathon (42km) par equipe, un record pour cadets et un pour cadettes, un pour juniors et un pour une equipe cadets mixte. Notre entraineur, elle, s'attaquera au record britannique pour son age et en individuel qui est actuellement de 3heures 5 minutes et 51secondes.

Rick Egington, premier medaille olympique originaire de Warrington, et medaille d'argent a Pekin et de Bronze a Londres nous apportera son support!
