We offer practical and emotional support to people affected by cancer

Story

Inspired by Annette Fox, Gullane tennis coach and East Lothian Tennis Development Officer, four of Gullane Tennis club's ladies have decided to do an exciting and hardcore  tennis/cycle fundraising challenge around East Lothian.  The aim of the challenge is to raise as much money as possible for Maggie's Cancer Centre, in Edinburgh who have been an incredible support to Annette and her family.

The team consists of Sandra Pardoe, Kerry Kerr, Annabel Stirling and Caroline Freeman.

We will play a set of tennis at 6 East Lothian Tennis Clubs and cycle
between them all in one day.  This will mean12 hours on the road,
approximately 40 miles cycling and 6 sets of tennis, whatever the weather!

Sadly we all know too many people who are affected by Cancer and we are keen to support this fantastic resource for patients and their families.

We aim to promote tennis across the county and that each club will get
involved as much as possible with different fundraising ideas.
