A cycle in 2015 from Lands End to John O'Groats , 19 August 2017

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

After a few too many drinks last Christmas my brother in law Steve and I talked ourselves into cycling LEJOG in 2015 and before we knew it the plan was set.  What where we thinking!!!  I imagine quite a few LEJOGs or JOGGLEs start this way. Some more sober planning has happened since and our self funded endeavour sets off on Sunday 23rd August on a 13 day tour covering over 1000 miles, pit stopping at B&Bs and also at family in Bristol and Stourbridge and Inverness.  it's not the most direct but it takes in the more scenic landscapes of GB.

As with previous ventures I am also doing this to promote and support the people of the Environmental Investigation Agency (EIA), a charity who I believe deserves a hand given the important and risky work they do to expose wrongful exploitation of the environment across the globe.  Therefore I would be very glad if you could spare a minute to look at their website, and if you feel minded to (no obligation), perhaps help my charity drive (in a small denomination or spread the word).

Thanks for reading, and Best Regards

Geoff
