Story
We are delighted to continue our partnership with our chosen charity, Teddy's Wish which raises funds to support potentially life-saving research into SIDS, neonatal death and stillbirth and helps provide support services for grieving families.
Funds raised from the GIC Global Fitbit Challenge will help to part fund a research study, the Prediction of Adverse Pregnancy Outcomes (POPS) which aims to develop new evidence and identify scanning measurements which are effective in detecting poor fetal outcome and predict stillbirth risk. The funding will enable the research team to investigate the combined use of ultrasound and blood biomarkers together as predictors of risk. Together this study has the potential to refine and improve predictive accuracy and lead to a combined test which will identify more at risk babies and ultimately help save babies lives.
Teddy's Wish are looking to raise £15,000 for this particular study and any help we can provide in reaching this target will be greatly received.
