Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page.

In 2014 we cycled to Paris for Poole Hospital. This year we are following AFC Bournemouth up to Manchester on our bikes to raise awareness of the work they do with the community and to raise money for one of their nominated charities of the year, The Dorset Cancer Care Foundation.

We will be joined on the ride by members of Saddledrunk who are also generously providing some team kit for the quest.

The Dorset Cancer Care Foundation has been established to provide financial assistance to cancer sufferers and their families. By the provision of grants, the foundation will provide financial support to aid with the recovery and treatment that patients need, when traditional care may be insufficient. The foundation will also support and work with other Dorset based cancer groups, organisations and hospitals to help assist with research and education into finding a cure for cancer as well as medical equipment required for the treatment of cancer patients.
