Story

The Hays are taking on a sponsored 1000 piece Christmas jigsaw (WASGIJ) challenge between Fri 16th and Sun 18th Dec 2011. This involves all 6 of us - Steven, Gillian, Hamish, Peadar, Iona, Niamh. Although we love jigsaws, this is a HUGE challenge in such a short space of time! We are doing it for the Emma Cameron Foundation.

The Emma Cameron Foundation was set up after Emma died earlier this year.  Emma and her family are good friends of ours.  Emma had the same diagnosis of Osteosarcoma, amputation and chemotherapy as Iona and we got to know her very well in Yorkhill and WESTMARC (centre for prosthetics).  She was an amazing girl and an inspiration to all who met her.  All the money raised will go to charities which help make life easier for children with cancer.  This includes things such as meeting celebrities, getting treats, going on magical trips and providing real hair wigs. This is a fantastic charity to support and inspired by a special girl. x
