Story
Can you help the SAA help their cats?
The Society for Abandoned Animals rescue many cats, dogs and rabbits yearly. Recently there has been an increase on the amount of poorly cats that have come into their care.
In February 2015 alone these cats all had medical conditions amounting a major cost to the rescue.
Clyde - Clyde had pancreatitis
Lucy - severe flea allergy
Katie - nasal polyps and suspected cat flu
Little Miss and Bridget - all their rotten molars removed
Prince Harry - FIV positive, major flea allergy. He
came into us as he was going to be put to sleep by the RSPCA because he
was FIV positive. He is undergoing treatment but further skin biopsies
will be needed (£300) to determine the right treatment. We are limited
to what we can do due to his immuity being low. This is the main reason for this fundraising page.
James - 3 rotten molars removed and treatment for an ulcer on his eye
Joey - Bloated belly and toxoplasma. Came in as a stray who hopped into a wormans van. Originally thought to be a pregnant female but turned out to be a male with a very swollen belly.
Miss Kitt - Skin condition. Persian type cat with major fur loss around her neck.
Lucy - biopsy taken from a lump found on her neck (awaiting results)
Max (feral) - put to sleep as severe kidney failure and blood pouring out from his bits :(
Max - flea allergy
Shanikqua - Came in with a wired jaw which needs removing
Please, we need your help to help these cats and many more. This does not even include the dogs and rabbits they have who are poorly too.
A big thank you from me and the SAA animals and team.
