Help build the first Masjid in Bracknell and take up the 10 days Dhul Hijjah Challenge.
This is an appeal by BICS (Bracknell Islamic Cultural Society) for
you to take up the 10 x 10 Dhul Hijjah Challenge
The Muslim Community in Bracknell is in desperate need to
build a Masjid to establish the worship of Allah. There is currently no masjid in Bracknell and in Ramadhan this year the Muslims in Bracknell had to pray in 4 different places due to restrictions over timings of prayers and capacity of the venues. One place for the Fajr prayer, a second place for the 4 remaining obligatory prayers, a third place for Jumma and a fourth place for the tarawi prayer.
The photographs show the 3 places we currently have for prayers
- Fajar - Harmans Water Community Center, Bracknell
- Duhr to Esha - Forest Park Business Unit, Bracknell
- Jumma - Bracknell Leisure Centre
All proceeds will go towards purchasing a plot of land to build the masjid Insha'Allah. Please visit BICS website for further information http://www.bracknell-ics.org.uk
The best 10 days in the Year !
It was narrated from Ibn ‘Abbas (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (sallaAllahu ‘alayhi wasallam) said: “There are no days on which righteous deeds are more beloved to Allah than these ten days..."
(Reported by Bukhari)
The companions used to do as many good deeds during the first 10 days of dhull hijjah so why not take up this challenge to build the house of Allah.
What do you need to do?
We call this the 10 x 10 challenge!
All you need to do is to donate a minimum of £10 each day for the first 10 days of dhul hijjah and earn rewards each day during the best days of the year. You can also donate in one go if you wish.
Please pass on the message so that we can get as many people involved to donate for this great cause
The Prophet (peace be upon him) said: “Whoever builds a mosque for Allah, Allah will build for him likewise in Paradise.”
[Sahîh al-Bukhârî and Sahîh Muslim]
