We aim to improve screening and detection to improve bowel cancer survival rates

Story

About 3 years ago I was diagnosed with bowel cancer.  Fortunately, it was in it's early stages.  After undergoing surgery, chemotherapy, more surgery and more chemotherapy, I have just been given the all clear for another 6 months - so.... i'm still here!

I'm about to become 65 years young and start collecting my pension - something I though I would never do three year ago!

Rather than birthday gifts, I decided that i'd like to raise some money for early bowel cancer screening so others can have a few more birthdays too!  My chose charity is GUTS based in Guildford.

If you would like to donate then doing it through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity. So it’s the most efficient way to donate – saving time and cutting costs for the charity.

Cheers

John
