Story

High Sheriff of Gwynedd, Marian Wyn Jones, will be holding a Jazz Supper and Giving Circle event to raise money for 4 local charities. All donations will be matched up to a total of £5000 and divided equally and awarded in grants to the following charities by the Community Foundation in Wales.

Hidden Talents( Canolfan Gerdd William Mathias,Caernarfon)

Hidden Talents’ is a pioneering  creative music  project for young adults with severe learning disabilities.

Funding is required for tuition & transport  and  to sustain this wonderful  project for the future.

Crimebeat  Gwynedd

Crimebeat is committed to helping youngsters make a positive impact on our communities. All applications are assessed by a board of independent  trustees.

Porthdinllaen Lifeboat Station (RNLI , Morfa Nefyn, Gwynedd)

This is the charity that saves people at sea. The lifeboat crew at Porthdinllaen have been doing just that for generations.92%  of its total income comes from donations and legacies. As the station’s new boathouse takes shape, funding is a key issue.  Welsh Volunteers are preparing the final push towards the £100,000 needed for this brand new building to be opened by Easter 2014.

Bangor New Music Festival

The Bangor New Music Festival is dedicated to celebrating the best of contemporary music . A charitable Organisation set up in 2000, it commissions   and  performs new works by Welsh composers and allows schoolchildren and students to write and perform  music  in exciting and innovative ways. Contemporary musicians, of all ages find inspiration, promotion and support through this ground-breaking festival, held every March.

Thank you for supporting all of these fantastic organisations.
