Congratulations to team member Dave Jones for completing the Brighton Marathon in a time of 3 hours 52, and helping raise money for Hope Village, Uganda

About us:

St Peters GAT Team Uganda - Tony & Pieta Lyons, Chris Willis, Dave Jones, Fiona Finch and Chris Allen, are raising money for the Village of Hope in Jinja, The village is currently home to 49 vulnerable orphans, and widows displaced by war in Northern Uganda and has plans to expand to over 100. The village is growing, and water is a very precious and expensive commodity. We are raising money to drill a bore hole on site which will provide water for the entire village. the money saved from water bills can then be used in other ways to help with the community. 

The cost of the water bore project is relatively small, and this will provide all water needs for many years to come. A surveyor has been to the village and confirmed that there is water available. 

God is doing an amazing work in the Village of Hope and there has been much blessing amongst the Orphans and widows - please give genorously so that we can respond to this urgent need for water. James 1: 27
