Story
5 middle aged and slightly unfit men, who should know better, are planning to climb Mt Cameroon. It may not be Mt. Everest but for Gary Slaney, Andrew Davies, Bassem Bekdache, Deni Basse and Hugo Norman a 4000m assent up the highest mountain in West Africa represents a real challenge!
In an attempt to justify the climb to be something other than the early onset of a mid-life crisis, we are hoping to raise some money for two very deserving causes. The first is ACE, a charity based in East Africa that does some wonderful work supporting and educating adults and children affected by HIV. The second is The Andrew Foster Memorial College for the Deaf, based in Ibadan, Nigeria giving an education and hope to deaf kids in Nigeria.
