Story

Thanks for following the link from our main 'wedsite'... :-). As we have said before, we are a very blessed couple and would simply be happy with your presence on our wedding day.

As an alternative to the traditional gift list, we would like to use this special family occasion to raise funds for a charity that we have a personal connection with. The Society of Parents of Children with Cancer (SPoCC) were one of the most memorable charities that supported the Hooper family, especially during the years when James was making frequent visits to Birmingham Children's Hospital.

They offer invaluable support to children with cancer and their families during difficult times. They also know how to have fun together! :-) Cherry has fond memories of trips to France with SPoCC families as well as days out around the Midlands.

This allowed them to meet other families in similar situations and make lifelong friends. This is a cause that is dear to our hearts, and we would very much like to support their ongoing work so that future families can find some comfort, understanding and also have such fun times together on trips away.

James is really looking forward to this big family celebration on 27th October and his important role as usher! :-)

Thanks a lot for your support for this cause. Any donations will be greatly appreciated - thank you!

Lots of love

Cherry & Ian
