In June 2012, the staff of PNE, as well as its clients and partners, were hit hard by the sudden passing of long-time PNE employee (and practical joker), Ian Thompson.  Ian was more than just a respected, long-term colleague, he was a trusted friend, and someone who often provided a great deal of personal and moral support at challenging times. He is dearly remembered by his family, his numerous friends, and PNE's staff and partners. PNE and Ian's family have set up this JustGiving page in his memory and all donations will go to the family's chosen charity, Moving On.

Ian was treasurer and a member of the Board of Trustees at Moving On, a Durham-based charity which seeks to end youth homelessness in County Durham.

The £1,000 target would enable Moving On to provide emotional and housing support for one client for a year. Alternatively, Moving On could use this money to provide 40 clients with starter packs containing food and household products, so we would be very grateful for any donation you could make to this fantastic charity which meant so much to Ian.
