On May 16th our Finance department will be walking 10 miles in fancy dress, around the boundary of Maidenhead, completing challenges along the way, to raise money for The Thames Valley  Adventure Playground, which is a local charity near Maidenhead.

The Thames Valley Adventure Playground offers a unique range of adventurous, therapeutic and educational play activities in a safe, caring and stimulating environment, catering for both children and adults with all types of disability, however mild or profound.

As a registered charity with annual running costs in excess of £350,000, as little as 5% of what they need to raise each year comes through local authority grants. For the remainder, they rely heavily on the efforts of fundraising and the support of local people and businesses.
