For the first time ever, Ian 'n' Joel, "The World's Funkiest Men", present: 24 Artists in 24 Hours #24in24
From 12.00 on April 8th to 12.00 on April 9th, Ian "Ia-Funk" Aikman and Joel "J-Dizzle" Silver are doing a 24 hour radio marathon as part of Insanity Radio 103.2's #InsanityRadiothons.
For the day long period we'll be bringing you the greatest hits from 24 of Funk 'n' Soul's all time legends, including Prince, Stevie Wonder, Bill Withers, Nina Simone, Gladys Knight, P-Funk and many, many more...
We'll also have competitions, live performances and guest appearances throughout the period.
As well as giving the people their much needed funky fix, we'll be raising money for a fantastic musical charity - "Live Music Now".
But what is the charity all about? Well, in their own words -
" LMN selects you, professional musicians who combine exceptional performing skill with special qualities of insight, generosity of spirit and flexibility. We enhance their skills through our distinctive approach to training and performance, and send them out into the community to perform for older people and children with special educational needs across the UK."
Our fundraising target is £200 but we're hoping to smash that through your generosity!
