Islam21c's role in providing guidance and solutions to key issues faced by Muslims in the West is evident from the site itself. Islam21c quickly became a leading reference point for guidance and we have worked hard to strengthen our position every year and fulfill this responsibility effectively and efficiently.

As the struggle faced by Muslims becomes more difficult the demand for Islam 21c grows and thus our need to do more, much more. More then HALF A MILLION people used islam21c in 2013 Alhamdulillah and we are confident to reach the 1 MILLION people milestone for 2014 with your help insha Allah.  We need your help to keep this project running.

Again we come to you for your support in Ramadan 2014.

The money raised will go towards covering the running costs of this non-profit charity project. Here is a run down of the costs that are partially covered by your donations;

- Web operating costs (eg. hosting package, domain registrations etc)
- Email service providers to send emails to our mailing list
- Part time employees and freelance workers giving ~60 hours/week
- Graphics design work
- Purchasing hardware & software equipment.
- Marketing
- Multimedia production (eCourses, eMags, Video production etc)
- Editorial work
+ lots of other spontaneous costs that are always different but add up significantly.

To further give you an insight and appreciation of the extensivness of Islam21c please read the following:

Islam21c currently operates with 2 part-time staff and 2 freelancer workers  (all qualified professionals in various highly demanding roles) working on a combined monthly salary of just £1950 approx! This is the normal salary of just 1 part-time qualified professional - we spread that amount to 4 people!

Our staff then manage 12 volunteers working every single week (not inc writers) in various roles to help it maintain and development the various departments of the project (editorial, finance, facebook, youtube, publishing, proof reading, ecourses recording/editing/note taking/exam prep, translating, just to mention a few).

Finally our staff manage a long line of writers (imams, sheikhs, thinkers, activists, community leaders & academics) who are working every week researching & writing carefully planned topics to a level beyond reporting/journalism commonly found on most Muslim sites. Instead we aim to reach a deeper level of analysis and insight to equip, prepare and develop the Muslim community's spirituality, pro-activity and thinking.
