Story

Fundraising Update:

Grateful thanks to the team at the Swan Inn Liversedge who have raised a further £1809 with their charity band reunion and Sunday lunches, and to Fairfield School who raised £23 instead of sending Christmas cards!

An amazing effort by Elaine Wilkinson and her colleagues at Lawrence Scoffield who ran the Jane Tomlinson 10k and rasied an amazing £2,026.77!

Customers at the Swan in Liversedge raised £250 with a bungee jump and £70 from 2 collecting tins behind the bar!

Thank you to the ladies from Contemporary Hairdressers in Whitby who raised an amazing £1,220 when they did a bungee Jump in April!

About Isobel

Isobel was a beautiful 4 year old happy little girl who loved ballet and had just learned to skip when she was diagnosed with a brain stem tumour.  She sadly died in August 2009, just six months after she was diagnosed.

Her family are determined to make some sense of Isobel's passing and have set up Isobel's Gift - a Gift Fund at Andrea's Gift Brain Tumour Research & Support, developed to help brain tumour research and patients in Yorkshire.

Isobel's Gift will help the charity and scientists to rid the world of this horrid disease by conducting pioneering research at the Brain Tumour Research Lab based at the Institute for Molecular Medicine in Leeds.

Any support you can give is greatly appreciated.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate - we raise more in Isobel's memory and save time and cut costs for the charity.

So please dig deep and donate now.

Thank you so much.
