You thought it would never happen!   We are very excited and are looking forward to celebrating our wedding on 26 April 2012.  We are really lucky that we have everything we need already, so instead of presents, if you really want to give us a gift we would welcome donations to one of two charities.  We have each picked one that supports an issue close to our hearts.

Ivor has chosen FINCA (Foundation for International Community Assistance).   FINCA provides financial services to the world's lowest-income entrepreneurs so they can create jobs; build assets and improve their standard of living. Not only does it give them dignity and hope, but also the self-confidence to believe they can make it, which is the real long-lasting change. This is why Ivor is a member of the FINCA Advisory Board in the UK.

FINCA was founded more than 25 years ago on the principle that credit, not charity, offers the surest way out of poverty. By putting small loans in the hands of the working poor, FINCA helps people help themselves. With FINCA loans, destitute mothers can start or expand tiny businesses and create a source of income for themselves and their families. FINCA is now helping more than 880,000 clients in 21 developing countries, with an average loan of £200 per client.
