We have been committed to raising monies for cancer charities for several years. Why have we picked women's cancer? Because we have had personal experience of the effects it has on our families and friends.

Our aunt sadly passed away due to cancer at the age of 56 and our cousin and 54. Debbie had to have major surgery at 30 and her business partners sister passed away at the age of 43. We have been grateful to have the support of each other through these experiences and once again we will ride together to raise money for research and the continued support for women who are fighting this terrible disease.

We have previously taken part in a charity ride through Jordan and hope to continue through Vietnam and Cambodia for the same cause.

It is important to us as women that we participate rather than just donate to support cancer charities. This terrible disease has a damaging and long lasting effect on both the victim and their immediate family and friends. Anything we can do to help eliminate these effects we will try to do,it is not a chore nor a burden but rather a honor. To know that a small pebble dropped in a sea can create a wave, a wave that can help eradicate a terrible disease is the true meaning of hope and a hope we both have that this disease will one day be beaten.
