We support families affected by cot death to understand and prevent cot death

Story

Hi,

Thanks for visiting our page. Cammy and I are running the 2013 London Marathon in memory of our friends Morag and Paul’s son Jamie Henderson who they tragically lost to cot death aged just 22 months in May 2004.

The Scottish Cot Death Trust is the only cot death charity in Scotland and 86% of its income comes directly from the wider public making donations or supporting the Trust through fundraising events.

Jamie was such a lovely, happy little boy and in his memory we would like to raise as much money as we can to hopefully help the Scottish Cot Death Trust find out why cot death claims the lives of so many babies and children throughout Scotland.

We really appreciate all your support for this worthwhile cause and thank you for any donations. Xxx

About the charity

Every 9 days in Scotland a baby or child will die of cot death and the majority of their families will never know why they died. As the only cot death charity in Scotland we fund research; support bereaved families and educate the public and professionals about cot death. Thank you for your support.
