Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

Every year a Kairos prison ministry team of ecumenical volunteers enters Whitemoor [Cat A] prison for a week. The cost of running each Kairos programme is £3000, we will get no financial support from the prison, so this funding is entirely from donations.

Between the 19th and 23rd October 2015, I will be going in to Whitemoor prison with the purpose of working directly with an individual for a week. The goal is to show Agape love to the prisoners who may have never experienced this kind of love in their lives before.

The Kairos programme aims to rehabilitate individuals by changing their hearts... which leads to transforming their lives and that leads to a hope for the future for them that results in them impacting the world in a positive way.

The Kairos team will also be bring with us 10,000 hand baked cookies, personalized place mats, prayer chains and Agape love letters from God.

The whole week will be covered with prayer, the course is based on 'forgiveness' and 'choices' and prisoners will be given an opportunity to come to faith during the programme.
