I am running in this years Marathon Des Sables. It's something I have wanted to do for a while and can't wait to get cracking. While this is something for me, it would be nice to make a contribution to those who are not so fortunate. My chosen charity is Nelsons journey. A fantastic and extremely well run local charity which helps children who have suffered bereavement by providing professional help and support to get through their experiences. My Parents have just witnessed their work for a young boy, who remained depressed and withdrawn after witnessing his dad dying and the transition to a normal happy boy enjoying their granddaughters party just last week.

A great cause !
