Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page. I have spent an incredible summer in which I have spent a week volunteering  at Venue 2 (youth) Buckingham Churches Together Holiday Club and  a week at Soul Survivor serving young people as part of the Enabling team. It was amazing to see young people grow in those weeks and it has created a great passion for young people to know Jesus and to feel loved. 

With Youth for Christ, I will be able to impact and inspire young people. Their aim is to 'take the good news relevantly to every young person in Britain' and this is a vision I very much see for myself.

I recently applied and was accepted for a placement with YFC one, which is a gap year programme that Youth for Christ run. This is a great opportunity for me to work with young people in Britain and share God's love for them. I have been placed with Trafford YFC, where I will work with young people in the community. This will involve many aspects of youth work including taking assemblies and lessons, running youth groups in a local church, detached youth work and mentoring young people. I'm so excited about this opportunity, and that I will be able to see their lives change as they grow in faith or become to know Jesus. It will be amazing to see this change in young people! 

I need to raise £2500 so that I can do this. It goes towards training, accommodation, food, travel and support and mentoring. On top of this however I also have to raise pocket money of around £80 a month. If you are interested in being a monthly sponsor, please contact me!
