Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

I was lucky enough to get a club place to run this year's London Marathon and to keep me motivated on my long training runs I am raising money for the Edale Mountain Rescue Team. They are one of the busiest teams in England, rescuing injured and lost people in the Derbyshire Peak District. They also help the police in searching for missing and vulnerable people. And the team are all volunteers, turning out at all times of day and night and in all weathers to help others in distress.

It costs the team over £50,000 a year to maintain and buy new equipment, to run the response and search control vehicles, and to provide training to team members. So please support me in raising money for the Edale Mountain Rescue - any donations are greatly appreciated !
