We support families affected by autism to provide a haven for the whole family

Story

To Friends, Family, Clients and Business Associates

There are so many personal causes to raise money for and I know we all get inundated with requests for sponsorship but i'm raising money for a local charity for autism supporting children and families from a 5.5 acre site in Norton, Stockton on Tees.

My Story - Having not done a run or run a race since The Wilson Run, at Sedbergh School in 1985 I was challenged in January to run the New York Marathon. In my 49th year I decided to take the challenge. Overweight and starting with an out of breath 2 miles it seemed a big ask however inspired by how the children at Daisy Chain cope with obstacles every day of their lives I have since gone on to lose 3 stone in weight and am up to 17 miles.

I have now run the Tees Pride 10K in 51 mins and will next run the Great North Run and then the New York marathon in November before turning 50 in January.

I would be very grateful if you could make a donation however small to
help me on the way to our £3,000 target.  Any amount will be gratefully
received.  You can also TXT - JNEW47 £5 or £10 to 70070.
