On May 9th our dad, John Newman, passed away peacefully following a long battle with Parkinson's disease.

We want dad's passing to not be about tears and sadness but to help spread a bit of fun and laughter via the Parasol Project in Oxford.

Parasol has been a big part of one of his grandchildren's (Matthew) life for many years and dad knew how much Matthew got from their support and activities. 

So no flowers, no optimistic cures, no dedications, just pass some laughter and smiles onto others via the Parasol Project. Now THAT is what he would have wanted.
