Josie's tragic passing has affected so many of her family and friends. Cards, flowers and messages have been pouring in since her passing and it's a credit to the person that she was. Josie, without a doubt was the most caring, strong, thoughtful and funniest person you could meet. She always put everyone else's needs in front of her own, and her thoughtfulness and generosity was like no other. She is loved by so many & missed terribly but she will always live on in our hearts and memories. ❤️❤️❤️

Josie was diagnosed with auto immune hepatitis in January 2014. This is a rare chronic liver disease where the body thinks the liver is a foreign object and starts to attack it which causes the liver to become inflamed. Unfortunately, Josie was diagnosed with auto immune hepatitis at an advanced stage and it developed into cirrhosis quickly which resulted in her liver failure. It was a shock to so many of us. 

We are raising money for the Foundation of Liver Research which has supported research into liver disease for more than thirty years. Research is organised around major projects in viral hepatitis, liver cancer, liver inflammation and metabolism and liver cell injury.
