Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page.

Ok so here goes, we are a duo who's aim is to raise much needed funds for babygrow appeal at the Countess of Chester Hospital. Thanking  them for the amazing care they gave my girls while in the special care baby unit and In memory of Michelles angel Craig Felton.

About us - Hi I'm Donna Hopwood. December 27th 2012 is the day I realised how amazing my local special care baby ward was, when I gave birth five weeks early to my twins Freya and Faith. To cut a long long story short iI have seen first hand how the amazing staff are. Not only helped my babies become the girls they are today but they were also parents to them in the first two weeks of their lives when I couldn't be.

Hiya I'm Michelle Mellen and for me 2014 was one of the hardest years of my life because I lost my best friend in the world Craig Felton. It made me completely re-evaluate myself over and over again ever since. Craig would do literally anything for anyone and I can't think of no greater gift to him then trying to do something that may help others. When Craig was born he spent a long long time in hospital and I know without causes like the Babygrow appeal and amazing neo natal units we wouldnt have had the amazing 34 years that we did with this incredible man. So this my boo, is my honour to you in your loving memory.

The Babygrow appeal holds a very special place in our hearts so our new years resolution for 2015 is to raise £5000 for this worthy cause.

We really hope you can all support us on this journey and help us out along the way.

Thank you, from the bottom of our hearts

Donna and Michelle xxxx
