I'm sure any of us visiting Africa and completing our own challenge for WVC will realise how precious water is, I know I could not have got through the challenge without the maji maji man. I saw lots and lots of people carrying water in all sorts of ways, more so children going home from school collecting water on the way home, often in containers only fit for the tip at home, whilst our children moan about emptying the dishwasher. I saw the joy on a child's face when one of the support crew give a young girl a clean empty water container. We were told how one of the schools doesn't  have water for the children. It made me think we could help put something back for the water we have used. Anyone fancy donating ? If we all put in a tenner from group 3 that would be £840 just think what a difference we could make. It's the cost of a decent bottle of wine or two cheap ones, which we won't miss. 😊
