Story

Thank you for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page in memory of Judith.

The family of the late Judith Gillanders (nee Boreland) are holding a sponsored memorial walk in Hillsborough Forest Park on Saturday 30 May 2015.

The walk leaves The Plough Inn at 1pm and after completing a circuit of Hillsborough Forest Park will return to The Plough Inn. To join us at the Stroll in the Park or for more information please contact Suzanne O'Loughlin at Cancer Focus NI T: 028 9068 0741 or email: fundraising@cancerfocusni.org.

After her marriage Judith lived in USA and in England. Early in 2014 her husband’s job brought the family back to Ireland but in February Judith became ill with a very aggressive form of cancer and died on 28 May, leaving her husband Ross and two children George (5 years) and Ciara (3 years).

In her lifetime Judith supported many charities both at home and in the USA. Before her death Judith asked that any money raised in her memory should be donated towards cancer research and Cancer Focus NI are happy to oblige in this request.

If you would like to make a donation in memory of Judith to support Cancer Focus Northern Ireland we would be most grateful. Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and secure. All donations will be sent directly to the charity.
