We provide a space for girls to develop life skills while having fun

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

I have been living in Everton helping the Winstanley family with childcare as part of my year off.  Before I leave, I want to help raise some money for the local girl guides as the mum is guide leader and she told me they need more funds for a camping trip.  My friend Kristina and I have found the opportunity to abseil off the Spinnaker Tower in Portsmouth and hope you will sponsor us for this good cause.

The Spinnaker Tower is tall!  This is scary!!!  We are very excited but it is huge challenge for us and won't be easy.  The abseil is 100m (320 feet!!) off the side of tower - see the pictures - we won't be looking down!!!

The guide unit in Milford has only recently re-opened last July.  It is so popular with 26 girls all enjoying the chance to learn about independence and gain confidence through working as teams (patrols).  They really want to go to camp to explore the natural environment in the New Forest and learn how to cook on campfires and look after themselves.  They need funds to support this so I hope you will sponsor us.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity. So it’s the most efficient way to donate – saving time and cutting costs for the charity.

Thank you very much!
