Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity. So it’s the most efficient way to donate – saving time and cutting costs for the charity.

The McVey family is 20 years on,  and in 1996 our son was born with a congenital heart disorder.  Without the expertise at Yorkhill Hospital for Sick Children and the family support given by SACHD our happy story may have been very different.

The annual cycle around Millport  allowed parents and children to meet up and have some fun.  As the years have passed by, we still think fondly of the fun we had as a younger family cycling around Millport to raise funds for SACHD.

When we heard it was the 25th anniversary of the event, we all agreed to take part and share our experience with new family members.

This is a great organisation and we appreciate any small donation you can make.
