As you all know, our lovely Julie will shortly be leaving AQE in order to take up a new role at the University of Liverpool.

We will of course be celebrating Julie's 15 years here at Chester with a social occasion, but I know some of you may also want to contribute to a leaving gift.

Most people are aware of Julie's involvement with the charity Kanzi-Kibera Friends, which aims to assist in the chances of disadvantaged children living in Kibera, Kenya. Julie is Chair of the Board of Trustees for the charity, and during her time within AQE has been extremely grateful for the way in which colleagues have supported her various fundraising activities.

At Julie's request, rather than contributing to a leaving gift, she would be very appreciative of any donations to Kanzi-Kibera Friends.
