We Creating a Heart in Kabubbu, Uganda to transform the lives of Kabubbu's kids

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page.

In 2016 young people from the Hailsham Youth Café and Friday night project will visit the village of Kabbubu to take part in a volunteer project in conjunction with the Quicken Trust. and for many we expect it to be a life-changing experience.

We want to play a part in transforming the needy village of Kabbubu as it moves from disease and destruction to a future of hope. We will get involved in a building project, agriculture and  helping children with speaking and reading English.

All young people are paying their own costs for the trip and over the next 18 months will be carrying out a whole host of fundraising initiatives.

The Square Café has a long term relationship with the Quicken Trust and have visited Kabbubu several times in the past, where  we have built a house for a family in need, cleaned, painted, and participated in arts and crafts sessions.
