Story
To celebrate the fact that I have been working for The Bob Champion Cancer Trust for 20 years (I only came to pack some Christmas cards!), I thought it was about time that I set myself a challenge, rather than cajoling and coaxing others to do so!
To this end, and in no small part due to the fact that I was slightly intoxicated at the time, I have decided to walk from London to my cottage in Hindon, Wiltshire. The direct route is 100 miles and would take me down the path of the M3/A303, however, I am taking the scenic route which will make it slightly longer and will cover approximately 140 miles.
I leave Southfields on Saturday 21st April and intend to complete this challenge in a week and so will have to walk 20 miles a day. One of my dogs will come with me, but as conversation might be a little one-sided, I hope that I can persuade people to walk with me every day - I will be publishing the route and you're welcome to join me on any of the daily legs.
Of course, my chosen charity is The Bob Champion Cancer Trust.
It would be wonderful if you felt able to support me by making a donation.
