Story

Hi, I'm Kirsty and I am 15 years old. In school we are currently working on a project called YPI. YPI (youth and philanthropy initiative) is where in classes we are put into small groups and pick a charity, each group has a different charity. we then present our chosen charity, mine being North East Sensory Services, in front of parents, teachers, people to represent your charity and a panel of judges. The judges then decide which charity was best presented and that charity is awarded a £3,000 cheque. As we recently started YPI we've been researching and visiting the North East Sensory Services. When my Stepdad and I got the opportunity to abseil down the O2, I knew I had to do my bit to raise more money for such an incredible cause.
