I was in London just before last Christmas. Seeing the homeless there on the street something within me just all of a sudden gave me the desire to want to help. I believe it was God directing me . Chatting with my friend  Megan after Christmas we found we had a mutual desire . Sinse then we ( mainly Megan) has collected items and raised over £1000 which we are using as we feel God leads us helping not just the homeless but those in need. 

Having the opportunity to do a sponsered sleep out raises funds directly for the homeless shelter. We want to be where the people are at. We have had already the opportunity and priveledge to meet a few who are homeless and who were staying in another hostel.  We will also have the opportunity to meet those for whom the money raised will go towards helping.
