It is clear by the number of votes the RSPCA received this year that animals are close to the hearts of L&Q people.

The RSPCA started from similar beginnings to L&Q: a  group of London men lead by a local reverend decided to form an organisation that would aim to improve the wellbeing of many.

And today, like L&Q they are a modern and dynamic large organisation that while growing and keeping with the times remain true to the mission they set out in 1824.

Since we informed the RSPCA that we had chosen them as our corporate charity, they have attended our fundraising meetings, arranged staff visits to their Leybourne Animal centre for staff and have arranged volunteer placements for staff who want to get more involved.

Let's reward their hard work, enthusiasm and generosity with some of our own. Please feel free to give whatever you like, whatever you can.
