Story
Hi Guys
BUMBLEance is Ireland’s National and the World’s first interactive ambulance service designed specifically for children.
They transport critically ill children to and from hospitals and doctors appointments in a specially built and designed ambulance which has i pads, play stations etc so the kids can have a small break from the hospital environment and try make there trips a little easier. They also carry out "angle trips' which means they transport home terminally sick kids so they can spend there last few days at home.
So I've decided to try and enter the Perth City Corporate Triathlon for a good cause, its not a very long triathlon but i can't swim!
Those of you who know me know I'm not the fittest person and definitely not a swimmer. The first time i ever set foot inside a 50 meter pool was last Sunday (and i nearly died 3/4 way through my first ever length) so i have quite a bit of work to do not to drown in the triathlon!!! But it is for a very good cause I heard about the Bumbleance about 6 months ago and thought it was one of the best ideas I've ever heard of, its a great charity and they do some great work, check out there web site at http://www.bumbleance.com/ and please donate as much as you can.
