On 2 June 2016 I will be starting my cycle from London to Paris to raise money and awareness for AADC, a rare brain disease. I will be travelling 300 miles over 3 days; for a boy I know called Ted and his amazing family.

Who is Ted?

When I worked at a Primary School in Swindon I met Ted and his family. I remember very clearly that the first thing I noticed about Ted was his infectious smile and this has not changed!

Ted's smile is an inspiration to many, as this is the only developmental milestone Ted has met since he was born with this terrible disease. His family do an amazing job looking after him and tirelessly raise awareness and money for AADC! I follow Ted's story via his facebook group 'Ted's Smile' (please take a look!https://www.facebook.com/TedsSmile/) and decided that it was about time I did my bit.
