Some of you may just know me as a desk-bound accountant, excited by financial reports and reconciliations........but.........there is another Laurie deep inside!

I am an enthusiastic supporter of wildlife and have worked closely with the Whale and Dolphin Conservation Society over many years, and travelled with them from Alaska - observing Orcas (Killer Whales) to a scientific study in Nepal, rafting down the Kinali river looking out for rare River Dolphins

The recent news on the ending of Orca captivity at Seaworld is long overdue, but there is much to be done. Help support me as I swim un-Orca-like for a mile in London on July 16
