In the spring of 2015 to mark my 50th birthday I am riding the length of the uk on a recycled bike built by Trowbridge Bike Workshop (a social enterprise that is part of Julian House)

This charity initiative offers training and occupation for homeless & vulnerable people giving them a skill, and a positive future and offering the community recycled bikes refurbished to a high standard at great prices, in my book that's a win win and an example of the way a charity should work, helping folk to help themselves, my ride will be on one of their bikes & will hopefully help to show what a great job they do.
