We are raising money for young kids that suffer from Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy which sadly is 100% fatal.

This condition urgently needs funds to be directed into global research for treatments to try and slow or halt the muscle deterioration.  

Affected boys lose their mobility aged just 10 - 12 years and their young lives are taken in their early 20's, usually due to heart and respiratory failure.

We are asking for donations and sponsors for a number of forth coming events :

19 April 2015 - Zip World - The Return by Claire Shaw. We head back to Snowdonia, North Wales with another team of volunteers willing to be launched head first down a zip wire - up to 119 mph - the longest, fastest zip wire in the world. Spaces available - £25 registration/entry fee (usually £60 per person entry) with a minimum sponsorship of £200 to be raised.

16 May 2015  - Charity Ball, Auction and 80's Party. Willerby Manor Hotel, near Hull. 4 course dinner, Black Tie. This event is run by a friend who is raising money for Action Duchenne. £30 per ticket or tables can be bought (to seat either 8,10,12) - tickets available but for long ! 

October 2015 - Swimming with sharks, no cage ! Cheshire. Teams of 6 - currently recruiting !!! £30 per person to secure your place (usually entry fee waived) with £370 minimum sponsorship. 

Summer 2015 - 25 x 4 ball Golf Tournament date TBC by Adele Cheetham 

February 2016 - Sky Diving. £29 registration and £399 minimum sponsorship (tbc) currently recruiting !!!
