Story
In June I will be going on a one month volunteering expedition to Fiji with the charity Think Pacific.
The charity works with local communities in the remotest Fijian villages, with the aim of improving infrastructure, sanitation and education.
To raise money I will be completing a personal triathlon in which I shall row the distance of The Oxford and Cambridge Boat Race (4.2 miles), run 10km, and cycle 100km from Harrogate to Scarborough accompanied by my ("very unfit") Dad! Your sponsorship will be greatly appreciated.
Whilst in Fiji I will be working in the local schools helping to improve literacy levels and implementing sports and extra curricular programmes ,all with the aim of creating a brighter future for the Fijian children.
The charity does amazing work especially in light of the recent cyclone which devastated many of the islands, destroying homes, food sources and sadly killing many.
All money raised goes straight to the charity and in this time of distress really will make a huge positive impact on the lives of many! Thank you for any donations no matter how big or small your kindness is greatly appreciated by myself and Think Pacific!
