In just a few days, we will begin working in the favelas of Curitiba, Brazil helping local clubs and associations with children who are at daily risk of exclusion through crime, drugs, broken homes and absent parents. We at Lionsraw believe football provides the perfect platform to educate these children with life skills that give them hope and a future.

We are creating chances for change for such children through funding and building an education centre in Cajuru, one of Curitiba's more deprived favelas. We want Cajuru's children to have a childhood and to learn and play in a safe environment. When finished the centre will house activities for 500 children every week.

We need your generosity to help reach our goal of £30,000 ($48,000) during June to meet a shortfall in the budget need to complete the education centre.
