The purpose of this page is to raise funds for our two month mission trip to The Philippines in June. Whilst we're out there we will be supporting the work of International Teams Tender Ministries. This will include helping with the feeding programmes that they run in the slum areas of Manila where they aim to feed 50 most malnourished children in a community with food packed with much needed vitamins. We will also be helping with the education programs that they run at their centre which teaches preschool children basic English and Tagalog skills and gives young people who missed out on a high school education a high school qualification certified by the Government. Also we will be helping with a youth club that is run for young people who scavenge in bins at night to find food that they can either eat or sell. The youth club gives them a meal and also some Bible teaching and life skills. We'll also have the chance to help run a hygiene workshop for families living in slums and a field trip for the kids.
