Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
Mine and Simon's first son, Harvey William Slee, was born at 33 weeks and weighed 5lb. He spent the first two weeks of his life in the Special Care Baby Unit at the Cumberland Infirmary, Carlisle. The staff were amazing and gave Harvey all the care he needed before being allowed home.
He was a very happy little baby with big blue eyes and he melted our hearts.
Suddenly one night, Harvey became ill and sadly passed away, leaving us devastated.
On 26 May 2015 it would have been Harvey's 10th birthday. To mark the occasion and to celebrate his short, but very precious life, I am doing a tandem skydive on 25 May 2015 to raise money for the Special Care Baby Unit, Cumberland Infirmary, Carlisle to help them buy equipment to ensure the best start is given to all babies who are admitted to the ward.
All the equipment used is expensive and, although funding is allocated to the department, donations are also greatly needed.
Please, if you can, I would greatly appreciate it if you could sponsor me.
Thank you so much in advance.
Louise xx
