This page is in memory of our wonderful friend Tom McCauley, who we sadly lost in August of last year.

On Sunday June 9th Cam Finney and Edward Ridgway will be running the Potters 'Arf Marathon.

Any donations will be very gratefully received and will be targeted and used very carefully within the local community.

The money raised from this event and many more to follow will go to North Staffs Mind charity who deliver local mental health services, provide information and support, and campaign to improve policy and attitudes. 

Money will fund North Staffs Mind's Younger Mind, who focus on the mental health issues of young people in Staffordshire.  

Funds will aid in the establishment of The Maccas Project, a project set up in Tom's name to promote awareness of mental health issues by providing experts to go into schools and colleges across Staffordshire to give talks and provide guidance and support.

The Maccas Project will be aimed specifically aimed at young males within the area as mental health issues can often first emerge in males in late adolescence – something we feel is not discussed openly enough within the public forum.

We are aiming to change that.
